You have to like this guy...it's the school boy charm factor. Not only is he a magician, he can hypnotise most people in a heart beat or at the very least convince them to convince themselves that they are hypnotised. He includes a sneaky saturnalien reference in his book trick of the mind and also a strange letter at the back about the sheer quantity of serpent symbolism currently in society... In this 1 hour episode he goes to the US and tries to convince a series of paranormal experts each an influential believer and creator of believers that he is the GENUINE article..he converts people with a touch and convinces NICAP reps that he was an abductee.

Derren's program is perhaps the most important ever on television.
Derren is a fairly talented guy...good artist and great at making close up magic about more than the trick...
His methods for lie detection are brilliant..I use them often when watching the news but especially when looking at conspiracy videos.
people who tell countless lies include...Richard Hoagland...Hancock..John Lear..John Anthony West..I could go on and on...
These I regard as people who know what they are saying is not true..of course when you are dealing with people who believe what they are saying but are just spouting out what others have said it's a different animal...
It's the people that believe their own lies that are the most dangerous to society....

I think his shows exposing of the act of lying is what makes it so important today.
I am doing the Kentroversy Podcast tomorrow night on the subject of Mind-Control, whcih makes this post quite relevant to me right now also.
